I hope you and your family had a restful and joyful Thanksgiving break, filled with moments of gratitude and connection. As we return to school, we are excited to continue the journey of learning and growth with our OWLs.

This is a wonderful time of year, but also a busy one! As we move into the final stretch before winter break, please be sure to check for any updates on upcoming events, important dates, and classroom activities. Your involvement makes such a difference in your child's education and we’re grateful for your continued support.

Math Facts Check-in! Has your child mastered their grade level math facts yet? Lucy T. Davis requires all math facts to be mastered by Friday, February 14th. Please help encourage your child to study every night so that they will be successful in mastering their facts.

• Tardy Bell – 7:45AM

• NO Early Sign – outs after 1:45PM

Car Line – Drop Off

• Car Line A - K – 5th - Front Entrance

• Car Line B - Designated Students ONLY

• ALL cars should go through the car line - There should be no students dropped off at the front entrance.

Car Line - Pick Up

• All parents should go through the car line. Walking to the door is not permitted, unless walking from home.

• All car riders should be picked up by 2:30pm.

The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.

Thank you for supporting the American Red Cross blood program!

With school safety in mind, LTD will follow the protocols below:

• Minimized drop off locations

• Visitors will not be allowed to visit classrooms or eat lunch with students

• All classroom and exterior doors will be closed and locked throughout the day

• Door checks will be conducted at least THREE times per day

• Armed Security Guard
