A Message from Ms. Peterson
Hello MCP3 Families!
We are off to a great start for our class of 2039!! Thank you for choosing MCP3 as your child's K3 pre-school and for trusting us to love and teach your child. It is going to be an awesome year together! Everyday our scholars are making their good, better, and their better best by following the routines and procedures quicker and with more ease. Thank you families for your support in making it a strong start for your scholar!
Here are a few things to remember in order to set your scholar up for success.
Weekly Communication Sheets
Every monday, your scholar will receive a new communication sheet in his/her folder. The sheet will be noted daily and should remain in the folder all week. The communication sheet provides an additional layer of communication regarding how your scholar did with following classroom rules and commitments. Please be sure to review your scholars' day with them and incorporate the specific language of our commitments and rules with them which is noted on the bottom (walking feet, listening ears, gentle hands, etc.)
Life's Work
Starting this week your scholar will receive Life's Work Monday- Thursday. The Life's Work matches skills scholars are learning in the classroom and should be completed throughout the week. Life's Work packets are due Friday morning. Scholars will receive a Dojo point for each completed page of life's work. Family members are encourage to support their scholar, however, please allow the scholar to complete the life's work as independently as possible. Some life's work will require the use of supplies such as crayons, glue, scissors, etc. Please speak to your child's teacher if you need any of the required supplies at home so we can assist.
Nap Blankets
Blankets go home every Friday to be washed over the weekend. PLEASE make sure to bring your child's blanket back to school every Monday. Our classrooms do get a little chilli and we want scholars to be cozy and comfortable during naptime.
Change of Clothes
Be sure to have an extra set of uniform clothes for your child here at school. In the event that your child has an accident, we want to be able to change them right away. If you do borrow uniform pants or shirts from us, we ask that you return them ASAP after washing. MCP3 will gladly accept any size 3t-6 pants that you are willing to donate or pass on.
Arrival Time and Breakfast
Scholars can be dropped off between 7:30am-8:00am. Breakfast and school begin promptly at 8:00am. If you are going to be arriving past 8:30am, we ask that you call before 8:15am to let us know. Any breakfast food brought from home will need to be consumed during breakfast time as instruction begins on the carpet promptly at 8:30am.
Aftercare
Scholars that are signed up for our aftercare program received paperwork to complete along with an email from me informing you that you had a seat. All scholars that are signed up for aftercare are allowed to stay and are charged $4.00 an hour. Please be sure to pick up your child by 5:30pm. Ms. Galvin and Ms. Brown are our aftercare staff and you can reach out to them via Dojo if you need to get in touch between 4:00-5:30pm.
Authorized Scholar Pick Up
MCP3 staff will only let people who are on the authorized pick up list to pick up scholars. Please make sure that we have the correct people on this list and inform the office in the event that someone else will be picking up and they will need to show their ID. Thank you for your understanding to this matter.
Billing Questions
Please reach out to our Office Manager Ms. Perine by emailing cassandra.perine@mkeprep.com or calling our office 414-264-6007 with any questions or concerns related to your payment or enrollment.
Our MCP3 payment policy states that payment must be made in advance of services. Be sure to make your payment on time so that your scholar's seat remains in good standing with our program. Families that have not made a payment should have received their invoice in their child's folder yesterday.
With Love and Respect,
Ms. Peterson

ClassDojo
Classdojo will be used in all classrooms at MCP3 to connect and communicate with families, reinforce positive behaviors, and to share learning experiences. Positive behaviors will be encouraged and celebrated through Dojo points. Scholars will be able to redeem their points for prizes and other incentives each week as well as throughout the year. It is important for all families to access their child’s classDOJO.
We are working to get 100% of families connected to ClassDojo by September 8th! Shout out to the Gators who already have 100% of their families connected!
MCP3 Classroom Rules
Safety is our number one priority at MCP3. Please discuss these classroom rules with your scholar. Ask them the following questions: How are you nice to others? How do you show your teachers you are listening? How do you play safely?
