Dear Flint Community Schools Family,
I want to take a moment to express my deepest appreciation for each and every one of you—our scholars, parents, staff, and community partners. Your commitment, hard work, and support are the foundation of everything we do here at Flint Community Schools.
As we move forward in this school year, I am continuously reminded of the incredible resilience and dedication that make our school community strong. From the classrooms to the athletic fields, to every interaction with our families, we see examples of excellence, compassion, and growth. Together, we are shaping brighter futures for our scholars, and for that, I am endlessly grateful.
To our scholars—your curiosity, enthusiasm, and determination are truly inspiring. Keep reaching for your dreams, and know that we are here to support you every step of the way.
To our teachers, support staff, and administrators—thank you for your tireless efforts to provide a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for our scholars. Your passion for education is evident in all that you do.
To our parents and families—thank you for being active partners in your child’s education. Your involvement plays an essential role in the success of our scholars and the strength of our school community. Whether you are helping with homework, attending parent-teacher conferences, volunteering at school events, or simply providing the encouragement your child needs each day, your support is invaluable.
We recognize the sacrifices you make and the time you invest to ensure that your children have every opportunity to succeed. Your belief in their potential is the foundation upon which their future is built. Together, we are fostering a love of learning, instilling a sense of responsibility, and nurturing the confidence that will carry them forward.
Your partnership reminds us daily that education is a collaborative effort—one that thrives when schools and families work hand-in-hand. Thank you for trusting us with your child’s growth and for being a constant source of inspiration and strength.
And to our community partners—your investment in our district is helping us create meaningful opportunities for every scholar. Your support is a reminder that together, we are stronger.
As we continue to face challenges and celebrate successes, let us never forget that each of us plays a vital role in the story of Flint Community Schools. We are making a difference. We are building a legacy.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Let’s continue to lift each other up and move forward with strength, hope, and purpose.

Upcoming Athletic Events
We had a fantastic evening celebrating our Senior Football Players on September 20th for Jaguar Senior Night. While we didn’t come out on the winning side against Saginaw United, we are incredibly proud of our athletes for their hard work and dedication on the field.
As we continue to offer exciting programs for our scholars, we are thrilled to announce the launch of Flag Football and Volleyball for our elementary schools! These programs are a great opportunity for young scholars to have fun, stay active, and learn new skills.
If your scholar is interested in participating in either sport, please reach out to your Community School Director or any member of the Community Education team to get signed up. We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy these fantastic sports!
We look forward to seeing our young athletes in action!
