Please remember today, May 16th, is our annual Art Show at PQ! Please come look at the work of all of our talented PQ students/artists! Thank you to Mrs. Carl and Mrs. Silverblade for creating so many budding artists, as well as the work behind the work to set up this amazing exhibition.

Many thanks to our PTO for supporting "BubbleMania"! The students and staff had tons of fun, and we all learned a little about bubbles! PQ's One Cub Day is this Friday, May 19th. This is a day when we celebrate our PQ Community of students. The 'All About Me' Chipboards your students worked on are currently displayed in "YOU Hall." See below for all the details!

PQ's One Cub Day is Friday, May 19th.

This is a day where we celebrate our PQ Community of students.

The 'All About Me' Chip Boards that your students worked on are currently on display in "YOU Hall" - the hallway leading to the gym. Students are viewing everyone's creativity as they head to and from Music and Gym. Parents will be able to visit this hallway during the "PQ Fine and Practical Arts" night on Tuesday, May 16th at 6:00pm. Enjoy!

Please note that the 4th and 5th grade Band concert, originally scheduled for June 5th, will be held on Wednesday, June 7th at 6:30pm. Please see the attached letter regarding this concert.

ABC PQ (Authors, Books, children at PQ) wraps up its final month of author visits with a bang!

• Author Gordon Korman, a favorite for upper elementary, will visit 3, 4, and 5 in person on May 16
  
• Helen Lester visits the 1st grade on May 17. Mrs. Lester has been visiting 1st graders at PQ for quite a few years now

• K-5 will receive a virtual visit from writer Bob Shea on May 24. Bob Shea was chosen by K-5 students as a favorite read aloud in April, which makes his visit extra special
