CONGRATULATIONS to the SBHS Boys & Girls Cross Country Teams on their team victory at the Mile High Preview Meet. Individual winners were Ty Petrocco and Iris Zylstra. Way to go Scoopers!!

There will be a Spanish Club meeting on Wednesday, September 6 right after school. Membership is $1 to join. Even if you have a practice, stop by to get Google Classroom code and pay dues.

The first Rodeo Club meeting will be on Monday, September 11 at 6:00 p.m. in the Meade Room at the Sturgis Community Center. All kids interested in rodeoing for Sturgis are welcome to attend!

Ms. Oviatt and Mr. Johnson will be holding a meeting for students interested in Oral Interp/Speech/Debate on Wednesday, September 6 in Mr. Johnson's room 112 at 3:30 PM. Please come find out our practice and competition schedule for this year and start finding your piece for oral interp.

ART CLUB!!! First meeting will be Tuesday, Sept 5th in room 301 right after school. ALL ARE WELCOME!! Come join fellow artists in a fun way to be creative and share ideas!

FCCLA meeting next Thursday, September 7 at 7:30 am. Questions ask Mrs. DeKraai.

All boys playing basketball this season, that are not in a fall activity, meet in Mr. Skinner's classroom after school on Wednesday, September 6th for a short meeting.

The Freshmen Class Homecoming t-shirt money is due by Tuesday, September 6th at 3:10 PM. T-shirts are $20. Payment and questions see Mrs. Proefrock.

Three teachers are available to help students with homework on TUESDAYS, WEDNESDAYS, and THURSDAYS. Students should arrive by 3:30 PM but can leave whenever they complete their work if they have their own ride. Students who need a late bus pass are required to stay until 5:15 PM.

We are ready for the start of the school year! With the construction of the new kitchen and cafeteria, here is some information on the outside of the building.

SBHS Entrance: Students will enter through the Main Entrance like always.

Bus Drop Off and Pick Up: Bus drop off and pick up will be in similar locations. See Map.

Student Parking: We ask students to park in the front parking lot and enter through the main entrance.

Parent Drop Off and Pick Up: That will be in the same spot as before. See Map. Please understand that after you drop off your child, you will be driving through the parking lot as we don’t have a driving lane because of the construction.

ALL Students: We also ask that you do not drive to the back buildings to drop off your student. We want to have all the students enter school through the front doors.

All school bus routes will be established by the Board in consultation with the bus contractor and school administrators. Number of families served by the bus and cost factors will be considered. Routes shall be planned and adjusted to the capacities of available equipment.

Parents have the responsibility of getting students to and from the bus stop in the morning and evening. Students should be at the stop not earlier nor later than five (5) minutes before scheduled bus arrival time.
