Highlights of the week!

Dear Coleman Families,

We’ve had an exciting week, and here are a few highlights:

After-School Meals: Our after-school meal program kicked off on Monday! A huge thank you to New Hope Fellowship Church for organizing and providing meals for our students.
Fall Fundraiser Success: A big thank you to everyone who participated in the mum sale! We’re thrilled to share that over 400 mums were sold. The funds raised will help support our trimester celebrations and assemblies throughout the year.
Mum Pick-Up Reminder: Mum pick-up will be on Wednesday, September 25th, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. We appreciate your support in making this fundraiser a success!

Oasis Tutoring

Do you know someone 50+ who would be interested in helping a child learn to love reading and learning? Oasis Intergenerational Tutoring pairs volunteers ages 50+ with children in grades K-3 to work one-on-one each week as their tutors, mentors and friends. They can tutor one child or several, on a one-on-one basis each week throughout the school year.

Anyone interested can sign up today by calling 314-995-9506 or visiting https://st-louis.oasisnet.org/tutoring/. Training will be on October 16 from 9:00-2:00 at Central Office.

Birthday Celebrations

In compliance with our Healthy Generation School goals, Coleman will focus on healthy celebrations. Student birthdays will be recognized on our daily announcements.

To comply with the national health guideline, we do not accept birthday or holiday treats.

*Every student at Coleman Elementary will receive a birthday pencil and card from the office on their birthday.*
