School Site Council Call for Nominations
School Site Council is a group of elected parents and staff who meet to discuss student needs, revise the school plan, and recommend budget allocations in order to help students raise their academic achievement and create a more positive climate at our campus.
There are two (3) openings for parents in our School Site Council. We encourage all interested parents to submit their name for the upcoming election using the form below. Parents are elected by vote of other parents. Those elected serve a term of 2 years.
SBAC Testing
Dear Parents/Guardians of 3rd-5th Emerson Eagles,
As we approach state testing, we want to thank you for your support in helping your child feel prepared and confident. Your role is crucial in ensuring they have a positive testing experience. Here are a few ways you can help:
✔️ Ensure Rest & Nutrition – A good night's sleep and a healthy breakfast can make a big difference in focus and performance.
✔️ Encourage a Positive Mindset – Remind your child that effort matters more than perfection. Encouragement goes a long way!
✔️ Be on Time – Arriving at school on time helps them start the day stress-free.
✔️ Minimize Stress – Avoid scheduling appointments or late-night activities during testing
Most importantly, reassure your child that they are prepared and that this is just an opportunity to show what they know. Thank you for being our partners in their success!
Reminder

✔️ Park bikes and scooters at the bike racks located at our front entrance on Josie Ave.
✔️ Remember to wear a helmet and follow all traffic safety rules.
