The caterpillars have landed at Wee Wuns and the chrysalis are begging for form!

This is such an exciting time of the year! Spring is beginning to show its face with sunshine, rain, chirping birds and beautiful flowers. I love watching the kids explore the butterflies in the classrooms and observe the amazing transformation! Just like butterflies, at the beginning of the year our students started off younger and some new to school, but they have certainly bloomed this year! It’s truly amazing how much the kids grow throughout the school year and during their time here at Wee Wuns.

I really enjoyed the beautiful performances by our preschool students during our Spring Programs. With the remaining days of this school year passing so quickly, we are facing some of the most exciting upcoming events with great anticipation. These last two months will be packed with wonderful experiences and memories not only for our students but also our parents.

And, before we know it, May 22nd will be here and our 4’s and Bridge students will be walking across the stage at Graduation. We have had such a wonderful school year together and I am not ready for it to be over.

We are in the midst of our Reservation and Registration process for the 2025-2026 school year. Please make sure that you have completed the following steps in this process:

1. Submitted your Reservation and paid the $25.00 fee.

2. Followed the instructions in the “Congratulations” email you received from Playground once your Reservation was accepted.

3. Submitted Registration (looks like the Reservation, but it’s different).

4. Once your Reservation and Registration are submitted, your enrollment forms will populate into your Playground account.

5. All documents and fees are due by May 1st.

Our spring bookfair will be held from March 31st - April 4th from 8:40 - 2:45. Many books are available for summer reading and make great Easter or birthday gifts for all ages!

Tuesday, April 1st and Wednesday, April 2nd are our days to ride and make a difference for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as they celebrate 63 years of caring for children. Our students have participated in this event since 1991, raising over $95,000 in contributions from Wee Wuns. St. Jude is most appreciative of our efforts on their behalf.

Information was sent home last week for students to accept donations for this worthy cause. If you have not done so already, visit Wee Wuns Weekday Ministries - St. Jude Trike-A-Thon | St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to set up your family’s fundraising page and begin inviting family and friends to make online donations. You can share your family’s page through email and social media. We are $200 away from reaching our goal of $1,500 and we will continue to collect donations through the end of April!

An opportunity to order pizza will be offered on Tuesday, April 1st & Wednesday April 2nd. If your child would like to buy pizza, please return the note that was sent home last week.

It’s hard to believe we are entering into the last two months of the school year, and we understand this is a busy time!

To assist you, we would like to share a few reminders!

• If your child’s tuition is current, April is your last month of tuition!
• April tuition is due on the 1st of the month. To avoid a late fee, please send tuition in by the 10th.
• If your child’s account has an outstanding balance, please contact us with concerns or questions. Any unpaid balances from the school year may affect your child’s May attendance and participation in end of year activities.

2 Chicks Click will take our Spring Pictures on Tuesday, April 8th and Wednesday, April 9th. Below is the background that will be used for individual and sibling pictures. Students will take class pictures and any student enrolling in kindergarten next year will also take graduation pictures. A cap and gown will be provided.

Graduation ceremonies for all students who will be entering Kindergarten in 2025 will be held in the MAC on Thursday, May 22nd at 6:30 p.m. An opportunity to add a student tribute to our graduation program will be sent home soon. The tributes will be limited to 15 words, including salutation and will cost $5 each.

Each year you are provided a spring conference with your child’s teacher. You will receive a conference call from your child’s teacher no later than Friday, April 25th.
