How To Help Teenagers Embrace Stress
Stretching beyond familiar limits doesn’t always feel good, but growing and learning — the keys to school and much of life — can’t happen any other way. Here is a great article designed to help your teenager deal with stress. Hope you find it helpful!
Dear 8th Grade Parents:
Attention All 8th Grade Parents: Believe it or not, high school is fast approaching for your 8th grader. In anticipation of next year, counselors and administrative staff from St. Charles East and St. Charles North high schools came to visit our Wredling students this week and provide them with information about high school registration and to introduce themselves to your student. The purpose of this meeting was to introduce students to their counselor and to discuss course planning for Freshman year. During the week of January 13th, 2020, students will be assigned a time to meet with their counselor where they will make their final course selections. The high schools are assigned to the following days:
- Wednesday, January 15, 2020: East High School Counselors Visit
- Thursday, January 16, 2020: North High School Counselors Visit
- Friday, January 17, 2020: North and East High School Make-ups from 8:30-11:30
Please click here for a chart to determine your child’s high school counselor.
In addition to their visit to WMS, the high schools have also communicated the dates for the Future Saints and North Star Nights. They are scheduled as follows:
- St. Charles East Future Saints Night: Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 6:30PM
- St. Charles North Future North Stars Night: Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 6:15PM
The purpose of these evenings is to provide information regarding the curriculum offered at the high school, as well as introduce students to the various activities/clubs/sports available to the class of 2024. If you have any questions about these evenings, please don’t hesitate to contact the high schools or access their school websites for more information.

We Want Your Feedback
District 303 participates in the annual Illinois 5Essentials Survey that collects feedback from our students, teachers, and parents. Your participation in the parent portion of the survey will enable you to share your thoughts on important elements of school effectiveness. All responses are confidential and will never be connected to you or your child.
The Parent Survey is currently open and will remain so through February 14, 2020.
To take the survey, please visit https://survey.5-essentials.org/Illinois/ and select the
appropriate survey. Make sure you enter Kane County in the box for county even if
your home or your child’s school is in DuPage County. This will allow you to correctly
select your child’s school.
