Exciting Things That Happened at Cambridge! ๐
October was filled with wonderful events and opportunities for our Cambridge families! From informative workshops to community celebrations, here's a look at what we've accomplished together this month:

We attended a meeting with School Board Trustee Ana Page, learning about data collection and strategies for developing community schools.
College Readiness Parent Workshop
On Thursday, October 17, Cambridge Elementary hosted an insightful and engaging College Readiness workshop for our parents, led by Mr. Dominguez. The session, titled "Preparaciรณn para la universidad," was held in Room T5 and welcomed families eager to learn more about supporting their children's future college journey.
Parents had the opportunity to discuss important topics such as:
- Choosing the Right School
- Preparing for College
- Applying to College
- Paying for College
- Succeeding in College
Parents left the workshop feeling equipped with valuable information and resources to help them confidently navigate the college application process, from selecting the right school to ensuring their children succeed once enrolled. The event was a great chance for parents to share their thoughts and connect with others who are on the same journey.
Weโre so grateful for all the parents who attended and made this event a success! Stay tuned for more opportunities to engage and empower our Cambridge families.

School Messenger Text Message
Parents and Guardians You can take advantage of our Text Messaging Service
Our school utilizes the SchoolMessenger system to deliver text messages, straight to your mobile phone with important information about events, school closings, safety alerts and more.
You can participate in this free service* just by sending a text message of "Y" or "Yes" to our school's short code number, 67587.
You can also opt out of these messages at any time by simply replying to one of our messages with "Stop".
We recommend saving this short code and Caller ID to the contacts on your phone. This will help prevent any 3rd party call blocking systems from interfering with your receipt of important messages sent by the school or district.
