Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program
We're excited to launch our Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program this week!
Goals of the Program
To create a healthier school environment by providing nutritious food choices by expanding the variety of fruits and vegetables children experience, increase fruit and vegetable consumption, and to make a difference in children’s diets to impact their present and future health.
Responding to Social Media Challenges
As we settle into the school year, we love seeing kids engaging with each other and having fun. However, we also must be aware of the influence social media has over our students, especially trends and challenges that may lead students to misbehave in ways that could have serious consequences.
I ask you to talk with your child about their social media use and remind them that activities that cause damage to a person or property have serious consequences. You may want to review the Student Rights and Responsibilities with your child so they understand the expectations for behavior at school.
I appreciate your continued support as we work together to make this year a great one for all students.
Stream-IN/Check-IN
StreamIN/CheckIN has begun in FCPS schools. This new option keeps students who are paused, quarantined, or isolated due to COVID-19 connected to the classroom.
