Academic Night- May 9
Families are invited to come to school for this celebration of student learning. Woods Creek students are excited to show their families projects and academic pieces that they have been working on at school. Classrooms are open for family visitation in open house style. A piece of art created by each student in art class will be displayed in the cafeteria for families to enjoy.
In addition, stop in the library and leave your mark by purchasing and dedicating a book. Families may purchase a book to dedicate in your child’s name and a name plate will be placed in the inside cover of the book. This book can be shared with Woods Creek students for years to come. All of the money raised goes directly to purchasing new books for our library. You can bring cash or make checks payable to Woods Creek School.
Bricks of Hope LEGO Drive
Our fourth and fifth grade students in Student Council have organized an end of year LEGO drive called Bricks of Hope. Their mission is to create play and inspire imagination in sick children by delivering LEGO® sets to them during their hospital stays. Click here to view the WC flier for this. Read more about their mission here. The drive runs through May 17. Thank you, WC families, for all of your support with this drive!
