School 2-hour late starts and closures
We understand that changes to the school schedule can be challenging for families, especially with 2-hour late starts on Monday and Tuesday this week. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to share closure and late start information as quickly and clearly as possible.
We strive to balance the needs for families across all our different school start times. While an early call may help some, it may be too soon for others. Since we send one message to everyone, we aim for the best overall timing.
If no announcement is made, schools will operate on a regular schedule. For updates, please:

Parent University
Introducing the Meta Moment: A Key RULER Skill in Social-Emotional Learning
We are excited to introduce a new video in our Parent University series, focusing on the "meta moment," a key skill from the RULER approach to social-emotional learning (SEL). The meta moment helps individuals pause and create space between their emotions and their reactions, allowing them to choose a more thoughtful and productive response in challenging situations.
This skill is an essential tool for both parents and students, supporting emotional regulation, better decision-making, and healthier communication. In the video, you’ll learn what the meta moment is, how it fits into the RULER framework, and how to apply it at home to guide your child through their emotions with more clarity and confidence.
Join us to explore how mastering the meta moment can enhance emotional intelligence, reduce stress, and build stronger, more empathetic relationships with your child.
