Meet Nova!

Please welcome our fully certified Professional School Therapy Dog Team featuring Therapy Dog, Nova, and Handler, LEMS Counselor Amy Hazel-Colley! They completed a 10 month intensive training program through Canine Community Heroes and passed the professional school therapy dog certification exam. They are excited to work with students to support their social-emotional and academic goals in the school environment. Nova provides lots of comfort, companionship, and social-emotional support for our students AND staff! Please ask to approach or pet Nova if you see her at LEMS. Please reach out directly to Amy Hazel-Colley, 7th Grade Counselor, with any questions!
