No School on Monday and Tuesday
Students do not have school on Monday, November 4, for staff professional development and Tuesday, November 5, for parent-teacher conferences . Professional development days enable our staff to collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional learning opportunities. Regular professional learning directly impacts classroom innovation and student achievement. Conferences allow families to partner with teachers to support student success. Classes will resume on Wednesday, November 6.
Make Your Voice Heard on November 5th!
Brunswick residents will see Issue 14 on the November 5th ballot, a renewal levy that has supported district operations since 1994. As we've shared in previous updates, this renewal maintains current funding without increasing taxes. The existing levy costs homeowners $61.25 annually per $100,000 of home value. This renewal levy is eligible to continue receiving a 12.5% tax credit for homeowners. For more information on IIssue 14, visit the BCSD website. Election Day polls are open Tuesday from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM.
BHS Teacher Earns National Honor
