
Intermediate Summer Update
Move In Day is Here!
I will be on campus from 8:00-3:30 Tuesday(7/11) and 12:30 - 3:30 Wednesday (7/12) if you'd like to come by and get your temporary key. This key will give you access to your room and the ability to lock it when you leave. Permanent keys, fob access and building access will be coming soon. *More information below about building access and key pick up below.
Things to keep in mind for your room
- Most everyone was able to come move their boxes into their designated room (there are still a few 'Easter eggs' that we will have to hunt for)
- Careful sliding the black shelves so that they don't snag the carpets. I have a rolling dolly/cart in the front if you need help with this
- We will look at class sizes next week and relocate extra student desk and chairs if needed
- If you end up not wanting to use a black shelf or the rolling shelf, please let me know so we can find a new home for it (any personal shelving, podiums, cabinets that we have not already visited about needs to be approved)
- Anything going on the wall that is permanent (nail, screw, or anything that will damage the walls) needs to be approved before mounting please
- Teacher desks need to stay within the vicinity that they currently are at due to computer connections - feel free to ask if you have any questions about this
- I need your extra cabinet and desk keys - I will have envelopes in the front office that we can write your name on and drop your extra keys in.
- You are welcome to store additional school items in the storage areas located on your side of the pods
- Bathrooms are useable! Yippee!!
Room Assignments
Instructional Staff - Instructional aide locations have been assigned and you are welcome to move your things into those rooms.
Gym - We should have access to the storage area and your office, they are possibly still working on the gym floor - I will keep you posted on this.
Cafeteria and Custodial staff - I will be in touch with Amanda and Steve as to when we can get y'all in and going on campus.
If you are unsure of where you are located - come see me and we will get you where you need to be!

**Jo Beth Allen from the HS has reached out and shared that her Summer Job Training students are available to help with moving or unboxing items for the following dates - please reach out to here at least a day in advance if you'd like their help so that she can adjust their schedule.

Other Information
There will be little hiccups along the way as we get our building up and going - please be patient as we all navigate this together and ask questions as you need to
Copiers are installed, I will get you information as to when those are functional next week. Same with Laminator.
We do have some supplies in but please be mindful that we are starting from scratch and it will take time to accumulate what we need/are accustom to. Try to be limited in your use of what we have to really what you need.
Some have asked about dress code - it should be very similar to your previous campus. If you have to question if it's appropriate, you probably shouldn't buy it :) We will try and stick to jeans on Fridays and spirit days. Colored denim and nicer looking jeans are appropriate for daily wear. I am not going to be the jeans police but try not to abuse that.
School supplies has been posted on website! Feel free to share with parents as they ask. It should be on our homepage.
