Bulldog Bulletin Weekly Newsletter

We are off to a great start! Last week we completed our first full week of school, first indoor recess, and our first early release day. This week we are kicking off Star Testing, 9/4 Wednesday and 9/5 Thursday. The Star Test is an assessment given to mark a starting point for our students this school year. All students will take the Star reading and math test in September, January, and May. Results will be communicated to parents. Lastly, our 5th graders welcomed the James Hart Band last Friday. Our students and staff enjoyed the band.

Early Dismissal or Transportation Change:

• If a student needs to be picked up early or a transportation change is needed, please call the main office before 2:30pm.
• Wednesday, 9/18/24 is an early release day. School gets out at 12noon. If there is a change in transportation, please call the office before 11:15am.

Lunch Drop Off:

• Food delivery services such as Uber Eats, Door Dash, etc., are not allowed and will be returned.
• Parents/Guardians may drop off lunch for students 20 minutes before the lunch period begins.
• Lunch period times are:
• 3rd grade 10:40am
• 4th grade 11:30am
• 5th Grade 12:15pm

Orchestra and Band Sign up:

• It is that time of year where students can sign up for orchestra and/or band.
• 4th graders may join orchestra and 5th graders may join band.
• Tuesday, September 10th in the cafeteria from 4-8pm, parents may sign their students up for either orchestra and/or band.
