Students have brought home poems (Comptines) for each vowel, that we have learned in class this fall. Next week they will read or recite a comptine of their choice to the class. I will be assessing their voice clarity and volume, vocal expression and eye contact with their audience. They can also add actions to their poem for extra interest. Please help them to prepare with a few minutes of practice per day this week, as fits your family's schedule.

On December 11th Our class will be performing at the Primary WInter Holiday Concert. We'll be singing the song "Pas Capable De Tirer Ma Vache" by Carmen Campagne. For the concert your child can wear something special or dressy.

There will be 2 shows to accomodate all of our classes and families, as we can't fit everyone in the gym at once. I don't know which show we'll be performing in yet but I'll let you know as soon as possible.

One of our own students is in the cast of "Annie" by the Not So Amateur Amateurs! We will be attending the production at the Domino Theatre on December 20th. The show will be a great part of our Drama unit this term. We're looking for ward to the show and to supporting our friend! Details and permission form will be sent home soon.
