Buzzing into the New Year: Reflections and Resolutions from Your Principal
Dear Meridian Middle and High School Families,
As we wrap up the first semester of the school year, I just want to take a moment to reflect on everything we’ve experienced together so far. It’s truly been a joy and an honor to join this incredible community as your principal. From the moment I arrived, I’ve been blown away by the dedication, resilience, and heart that define our students, families, staff, and community.
This semester has been full of amazing accomplishments and special memories. From academic successes and athletic wins to creative performances and acts of kindness. Our students have shown what they’re capable of in so many ways! Watching them grow and thrive has been an absolute privilege, and I’m so grateful to work alongside such a passionate team of educators and supportive families.
That said, we know there’s still work to do. As we look ahead to the new semester, it’s important that we come back stronger and ready to face the challenges ahead. Together, we can continue to create a space where every student feels supported, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential, both as a person and as a learner.
In the months to come, we’ll keep building on our successes while addressing areas where we can improve. Whether it’s raising the bar in the classroom, expanding extracurricular opportunities, perfecting our attendance, or making sure every student feels like they belong, I’m committed to working with all of you to make Meridian Middle and High School the best it can be.
I’m so thankful for the trust and support you’ve given me during this first semester. It’s your partnership and encouragement that make our school a place where great things happen, and I’m confident that together, we can achieve even more.
As the holiday season approaches, I hope you’ll take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy quality time with your loved ones. Let’s come back in the new year with fresh energy, a shared sense of purpose, and a commitment to making the rest of this school year something truly special.
Thank you for welcoming me into this wonderful community. I’m so proud to be your principal, and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together in the months ahead.
With gratitude and excitement,
Lizette Paceley
