Lockheed Martin - Summer Internships 2025

On a recent field trip to Lockheed Martin (Women in Engineering), information was shared with me that Lockheed Martin has internships for current seniors going into college and rising seniors. When you go onto the LM website, you search in "Careers". In the Search Jobs section, type in "Internship" with an Aldie zip code and a 50 mile radius search. Many internship positions pop up. Click on the links to read carefully what the requirements are to be sure you meet the basic criteria. If you find something that you are interested in, come to the Career Center and we can discuss it to be sure you are on the right track.

Summer Interns/Co-Ops - Atlantic Contracting & Material Co., Inc.

Atlantic Contracting & Material Co., Inc. is a family owned business since 1940. They do hire summer interns/co-ops for students interested in the construction industry. Please check out their website if you are interested. Look under the tab "careers" for the summer/coop. To apply download a job application and send that and copy of resume as instructed on the page.

Working at Ashby Ponds

I know that it's a bit of a drive over to Ashby Ponds in Ashburn. However, I want to let you know that this company offers seniors who are graduating a $10,000 scholarship (no matter what you major in) if you work for them. You have to be there your junior and senior years, and work a minimum of 1,000. Broken down over two years that's just a little more than 10 hours per week over the two year period. Very doable. If you are a sophomore and looking for employment, or a Junior who wants $10,000 next year for college, you should check this out!

Loudoun County Animal Services Volunteer Opportunities
You must attend an information session to receive an application. Info sessions are held at the shelter. No RSVP is required to attend an info session but seating will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
