This handbook has been designed to provide you with helpful information for your reference. Please make sure to review this information. If you have any questions, please reach out to Madison Junior High School.

As a parent or guardian of one or more students attending Naperville Community Unit School District 203, your feedback is requested via participation in the annual statewide Illinois 5Essentials Survey.

The purpose of this anonymous online survey is to understand parent/guardian perceptions in the areas of connectedness, satisfaction, interaction, involvement, and quality.

Your participation and ratings on this survey are confidential; the district will only receive school level results if at least 20% of parents/guardians participate. The results of this survey will be used to understand areas of strength and challenge at the district and school level based on your input and feedback.

Families with students attending more than one school are asked to complete the survey for each school individually. To access the survey, please click HERE and select “Dupage” as the county. In addition, you will type the school name of your student(s).

Lastly, please complete this survey by Friday, March 28, 2025. Thank you for your participation.

• Join us for Peer Connections on Thursday, March 13th.
• Peer Connections is a peer mentor organization for students to have a fun and relaxed social time with a focus on building friendships and communication skills through inclusive activities, games, and projects.
• We will be meeting in Ms. Healy's room (145) from 3:00-3:45. Please click this link for the permission slip.

• Calling all performance music families!
• Registration for District 203 summer performance music camps begins March 5.
• Please see the attached flyer for camp offerings. You can also find details via this link.

The front entrance is reserved for staff and school buses, and is very dangerous for students to be dropped off in this area. Please follow the drive line procedure that is listed in the MJHS Drop/Pick Up Line information below.

Please see the information below regarding student drop off/pick up:

• Please do not park in the back parking lot when picking up your student in the afternoon. We need all cars to stay in the pick up line.
• Please do not park in the front parking lot in the morning when dropping off students so we have space for staff parking. Car riders are picked up and dropped off behind the school only.
• Please do not pull in and out of resident's driveways when picking up or dropping off.
• Front entrance is reserved for staff and school buses, and is very dangerous for students to be dropped off in this area. Please drive around the back of the building.
• Cars must enter from River Oak Street and make a RIGHT TURN ONLY into the lot, and exit by making a RIGHT TURN ONLY, also.
• Safety directors are out to guide you. Please do not drop your student off in the street as this blocks traffic trying to enter the drop off area correctly.

We love the enthusiasm we have seen at sporting events in our student section of the bleachers! We are grateful that Home and School offers students the opportunity to purchase snacks at drinks at various home games this season. Please help us in reminding your students that outside food and drink CANNOT be brought into the gym. Thanks so much for your support!

• This is just a reminder that our intramural program is a great way for ALL students to be an active member of our school community!
• All intramurals are listed on our webpage, and schedules/times/requirements are listed on each individual intramural's schedule.
• When our schedules become active, they are available by clicking the (click here) link.
• All students need to do is attend the intramural when scheduled and they will receive a schedule and fee sheet. The, one-time, intramural fee is 26.00 and good for the entire school year.
• Students do not have to attend every session, instead attend when it fits in their schedule. When more than one intramural is occurring at the same time, students can rotate days so they can participate in both.
