Happy Easter Everyone!

As I walked the halls of the elementary schools this week, I was reminded of fun childhood Easter memories. Dying eggs, making a bunny cake with my mom and grandmother, freezing sunrise services, Easter Egg Hunts, making flowers and birds nest cupcakes with green (coconut) and jellybeans. Whatever your Easter family traditions are, I hope you have a fantastic spring break with your family and friends. Relax, laugh and enjoy a well deserved break. Safe travels and we will see you on Monday, April 8th.

In order to accommodate corrections to email address errors and spring breaks, NCDPI has extended the NC TWC through the first week of April. The NC TWC Survey will now be open until 5 p.m. on April 5, 2024.

The Summer Textile Exploration Program (STEP) provides rising high school seniors with the opportunity to experience all that the Wilson College of Textiles and NC State have to offer. During this week-long residential camp you’ll:

Explore marketing, engineering, design or chemistry with hands-on projects in our state-of-the-art labs and studios.
Live in our residence halls, eat in our dining halls and see what it’s like to be a college student.
Tour industry leading manufacturers and brands.
Connect with current students, alumni, faculty and staff.
Learn more about admissions, degree programs and scholarships.

STEP 2024 will be offered for five weeks during June and July. Applications close April 15. We can’t wait to welcome you to campus! Learn more about STEP.

Apply for AgDiscovery 2024! This two-week summer residential program that allows students to explore a research topic through hands-on laboratory experiences, workshops, and field trips. Students will also participate in character and team-building activities and diversity workshops.
