This day is primarily for students who missed OUR first photo day. Students with a current photo can only have a retake with a written request from parents.

IB learners are Thinkers. They exercise initiative in applying thinking skills critically and creatively to recognize and approach complex problems, and make reasoned, ethical decisions.

IB students contribute to discussions in a meaningful way. They do not shy away from challenging questions and, once they know the answer, follow up by asking “why?”

In the spirit of All Hallow's Eve (a.k.a. Halloween), OUR amazing Environmental Club did some pumpkin carving in OUR outdoor garden this week. It was probably a bit messy, but it looks like they were having a lot of fun.

OUR robotics program, a Lego robotics program, is working hard to get ready for this year's competition. Here are some pictures of them hard at work.

Every year, at about this time, we celebrate Red Ribbon Week. This week we talk a lot about being free of bullying and drugs. We also do a Spirit Week with lots of dress up days to help keep the kids thinking about our themes all week long. This year we wore red, we wore sports jerseys, we wore pajamas, we wore Halloween costumes, and finally we showed OUR vote for Batman or Spiderman by wearing red or black. Here are a few pictures of the outfits we saw this week.

November is National Family Engagement Month. The county has made this parent engagement calendar to let you know some ways that you can engage with your child's school this month.

On Family Math Night we will review what your child is learning in math this year and how you can support your child’s learning outside of the classroom. Come and celebrate the magic of math with your child through games, activities, demonstrations, and more!

Title I documents regarding Summerour Family Engagement have been uploaded on the school website. We greatly appreciate families who have already signed these documents on Parent Square.

If you have not downloaded the app yet, please do so to access documents and acknowledge the receipt of "The Plan... The Promise" by signing electronically. Once you download the app, click on the tab "More," then click "Forms/Permission," open the "Complete Back to School Forms'' tab, scroll down to select each document, click on "Review and Sign," then sign your full name electronically, and submit.

Another option could be to access "The Plan... The Promise" on the school website, print copies, and return a signed cover page to the Parent Center before October 18. The Parent Instructional Coordinator is available for parents who might need additional help downloading the app and signing documents.
