We have selected Disney's Little Mermaid Jr

Beautiful mermaid Ariel should be a happy girl -- she lives in an enchanted undersea country, her father is a King, and she has the most beautiful singing voice. But she is a passionate, headstrong teenager, and wants what she cannot have -- to live on land.

• Practices will be Monday's and Thursday's until the first week of April and then we will be practicing daily in the weeks leading up to the production. The full practice schedule will be published in the coming weeks.

• For the month of December and January practices will be from 3:15-4:45. Students should meet in the cafeteria. The first practice will be on Monday, December 16th.

• Performance Date is April 18th at 7pm

• Audition packets will be made available the week of December 9th for students.

• Registration will be open beginning on Tuesday, December 3rd.

SATEC is getting ready to begin our middle school volleyball program for grades 5-8.

• 5th and 6th Grade Volleyball is scheduled to begin the week of 1/27. This is an introduction to the sport of volleyball. Players will participated 3-4 days a week. Schedule details will be made available the first week of January.
• 7th and 8th Grade Volleyball is scheduled to begin the week of 2/17. Schedule details will be finalized in early January.
• Teams are capped at 26 players and we will create a waiting list.

We wanted to take a moment to let families know that attendance can be reported to Michelle Dow by calling 752-2600 or by email at satec-attendance@maplerun.org should your child be out sick, coming in late from an appointment or for other attendance questions that you may have.

We'd also like to remind families that when sending in notes to school to please include both first and last name of your child and the name of their homeroom teacher.
