2nd Day of Finals - Monday
Since school was cancelled on Wednesday due to the weather, our 2nd day of Finals will take place on Monday, March 10th.
Finals: Thursday (yesterday) we had odd numbers 1, 3, 5 and 7.
Monday will be the even numbered day 2, 4, 5 and 6
Tri 3 Starts on Tuesday
Our third trimester will begin one day late.
Trimester 3 will start on Tuesday, March 11th.
Trimester 3 Schedules are now available in Infinite Campus.
These schedules are final and will only be changed for schedule corrections.

EHS Food Drive Was a Success
Eagan High School concluded its annual food drive last week, achieving impressive results that reflect the generosity and community spirit of its students, staff, and supporters. This year, the food drive collected a total of 5,072 points, surpassing the highest point total in recent history.
Food Items: A total of 808 food items were donated, showcasing the community's dedication to providing essential resources for those in need.
- Monetary Donations: The drive also received $403 in monetary donations, further contributing to the overall success and ability to assist local food banks.
Eagan High School extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated, donated, and supported this initiative. The spirit of generosity and compassion demonstrated by the Eagan High School community is truly commendable.

Service Hours and GPA Reminder for Nat'l Honor Society Induction
TO MEET THE SERVICE REQUIREMENT, STUDENTS MUST DOCUMENT AT LEAST 24 HOURS OF SERVICE THAT ARE NOT REQUIRED BY ANOTHER ORGANIZATION FROM JUNE 2024 UNTIL THE TIME OF APPLICATION.
If you are hoping to apply for membership this April, make sure to fulfill the service hour requirement and complete your application on time.
An Induction Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, for new inductees and returning members. Click HERE for more information.
Science Olympiad Claims State Title!
Eagan High School has achieved a historic milestone as our Science Olympiad team secured 1st place at the Minnesota State Tournament this past weekend. This outstanding accomplishment crowns them as STATE CHAMPIONS for the first time in the team's history!
With their state title in hand, the team is now setting their sights on the National Tournament, which will be held in Nebraska on May 23 and 24. As they prepare to represent Minnesota on this prestigious stage, the team is focused on further honing their expertise and strategies to compete against the best teams from across the country.
Congratulations to the Science Olympiad team on their remarkable achievement, and best of luck as they aim for further success at the national level!
Robotics Wins Inspire Award!
We are thrilled to announce that our VEX Robotics team has been honored with the prestigious Inspire Award at the VEX Minnesota State Championship! This incredible achievement recognizes our team’s exceptional passion and positivity, key attributes that they demonstrated throughout the competition.
This was our team’s first year participating in the VEX Robotics competition, and they made an impressive debut among the 60 best teams in the state. Our robot performed admirably, and the students’ dedication to learning and mastering the VEX system was evident.
Our team didn’t just focus on their own success. They also demonstrated a strong commitment to sharing their passion for robotics with others. The announcers highlighted our team’s efforts in mentoring younger teams, providing support, and passing on legacy parts, ensuring a bright future for robotics enthusiasts in our community.
Congratulations to our VEX Robotics team for their hard work, dedication, and inspiring spirit!

Eagan's wrestling team demonstrated exceptional skill and determination, with all participants putting forth their best efforts. Out of the seven athletes who competed, two emerged as state champions, a significant achievement that highlights the strength and competitiveness of the team.
Eagan's success at the state level continues to build the school's legacy in athletics. The achievements of these young athletes serve as an inspiration to future generations, illustrating the rewards of hard work and dedication.
As Eagan continues to celebrate the accomplishments of its wrestling team, the school community looks forward to supporting all its athletes in their future endeavors.

Icettes Place 1st in Several Categories!
The District 196 Figure Skating Team, the Icettes, has wrapped up their competition season on a high note! They delivered exceptional performances at the Bold Ice Challenge this past weekend, securing first place in Production, Varsity Synchro, and JV Synchro.

MCA Testing Next Month and ACT/PreACT in April
The Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCAs) for grade 10 students (reading) and 11th grade (math) will be administered on Wednesday, March 19 from 7:40 - 9:40 AM.
- All grade 9 students will attend classes at 7:40 AM with a slightly altered schedule.
- All grade 12 students will report for 3rd period classes at 9:45 AM. Grade 12 students that arrive early will be supervised in the commons. Assigned work for periods 1 and 2 will be posted in Schoology by teachers.
- Buses will run at the usual times.
The ACT for Grade 11 students, and PreACT for Grade 10 students will be administered on Tuesday, April 15 starting at 7:40 AM.
- Students in grades 9 and 12 will have an E Learning Day on Tuesday, April 15th.
Muse Magazine Still Accepting Submissions!
Do you have any art, writing, or creative works you would like to showcase? Well, Eagan High School’s student-led literature and arts publication, Muse Magazine, is now accepting submissions! The magazine will showcase the art and writing of Eagan students, including poetry, prose, essays, comics, fashion, illustrations, photography, and multimedia works—basically, anything you deem creative.
The deadline for submissions has been extended to Sunday, March 16th. For more information and to access the submission form, click this link

Sports Update
Boys’ Swim wins the section and is on to state this week.
Boys’ basketball will host Hastings in the semi-finals tonight at 7pm.
Wrestling went to state with 7 participants.
Girls’ basketball lost in the second round of sections.
Gymnastics sent Peyton Taylor to state in bars.
Girls’ Hockey lost in the first round of playoffs.
Boys’ hockey won first playoff game and lost the second one.
Alpine- Courtney Bumpers was a state participant.
Nordic- Caleb Lyon, Finn Gridley, Frank Cossetta were state participants.
Dance team had one of their best finishes in sections.

Register for Boys Volleyball Now!
Registration is now open for Boys Volleyball on EduTrak. Tryouts will be held March 17th-19th. EHS Student ID Required for Free Admission to EHS Athletic Events!
Reminder: EHS Students MUST have their student ID to enter EHS athletic events otherwise they will be charged admission.
We will also have a QR Code available at the entrance, but advance purchase is strongly recommended to avoid any connectivity issues. Please be aware that there will be NO CASH SALES at the door. Tickets for all events will go on sale HERE at least 48 hours in advance of each event and are $7 for adults and $5 for K-12 students (plus applicable fees). Senior Citizens ages 62+ are admitted FREE OF CHARGE (and no ticket necessary) to all District 196 Regular season Home Games. Just notify the ticket person at the gate and have your ID available if requested. Eagan High School Students will be admitted free with a hard copy, current year ID only. No electronic copies allowed. NO Re-entry is allowed regardless if students have an ID or not.

To report a student absence, please choose one of the following options:
- Complete the online form.
- Call the EHS Attendance Office at 651-683-6911 during the school day or 651-683-6915 to leave a voicemail.
- Send a note with the student to be delivered to the Attendance Office upon their return to school.
