VMMS Community Connection
2024-2025 Back-to-School Edition
Greetings Viper Community!
I am beyond excited and honored that I have been granted the opportunity to serve Vista Magnet as principal. I take on this new role with an open heart and mind. Together we will continue to build the legacy that IS Vista Magnet while looking forward to new possibilities for our amazing school community!
Our fantastic teachers and staff have been preparing to welcome our Viper students and usher them into a successful year at VMMS. We are guided by our school Mission & Vision as well as the VUSD Framework for the Future. Please join us in partnership through the many opportunities to support our school through your participation in our PTA, Community School events, and Home-School Connection Workshops. More information to follow!
Please review important updates and reminders to gear up for an EPIC 2024-2025 school year at VMMS. Continue to enjoy your summertime fun and we'll see you soon!
With Gratitude,
Mrs. Rich

The Viper Way: Be Epic!
We are excited to welcome all Viper students! There are many campus events that will be taking place the first few weeks of the school year to support connection and belonging at VMMS. Grade levels and village teams will do lots of motivational lessons and activities to engage Vipers as they take on the new school year i.e. Essential Agreements, growth mindset, etc.
Help us cheer them on as they embark on an new and EPIC learning adventure at VMMS!.
Please be sure to review our Student and Parent/Guardian Agreements to support your student's success this year.
In addition, as a PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) school we will be focusing on The Viper Way: Be Epic! These are our school-wide behavior expectations that will be introduced and referenced throughout the school year.
