Lesson for the month
December - Be Kind Through Giving
Throughout the month of December, your child will participate in lessons and activities promoting kindness through giving.
Our kindness Club would like to encourage everyone to write eCARDS for Healthcare Providers + Patients as part of our school wide community service project.
Send an encouraging e-message to patients and their caregivers at Children’s Health using the form provided (Click link).
Instructions:
1). Choose a card 1,2,3
2).Write a short message to thank them or to encourage them
3).Write your name, last name
4). Use the school email www.barbarabushschool@yahoo.com to submit card (do not use your personal email).
Please do not share any personal information on your card such as your phone number, address, family, school, etc.
Example of a messages:
Thank you for everything you do for our community!
You are a hero. Thank you fo all you do!"
"Stay safe as you can! And thank you!"
Thank you and all the other caregivers for your service!
Thank you doctors, nurses and hospital staff!

Middle School 5th Grade Parent Night
5th Grade Parent Meeting
As you prepare your 5th grader for middle school, we would like to invite you to a parent meeting via zoom on December 15th at 6:30 p.m. We will be sharing general information about applying for middle schools and course selection, as well as answering questions you may have.
The virtual GPISD Experience is scheduled for January 9th, and the process for selecting courses for middle school will begin in January, as well.

School Counseling Program Mission
The mission of Bush’s Counseling program is to provide a proactive, comprehensive, and developmentally appropriate program to address students' academic and career goals in addition to supporting their personal and social needs. This is accomplished through a partnership with parents/guardians, staff, and community members to enable all students to become successful, productive citizens and lifelong learners in a diverse and changing world.
