Attached is a brief presentation about our Title I program, policies, and curricular information that includes Preschool-5th grade students and families. You will sign in using the QR code or link on slide 2. Please reach out with any questions you may have.
Student Pick-Up
Reminder, when picking up your child at the end of the day, you can either park and walk up to the sidewalk to check out your child, or drive through the car loop and an adult will bring your child to your vehicle to check them out.
Please do not park in the car loop and get out to check out your child. This causes a delay in the car loop and blocks incoming traffic.
Thank you!
ATC/DART Riders
It has been communicated to us by the director at ATC/DART that they will no longer be sending us a rider list for the afternoon.
If you have signed your student up to ride the ATC/DART bus home from school, you must contact the main office to let us know.
Thank you!

Fall PTC Nights
Each year, the district hosts Parent-Teacher Connections Nights (PTC) in the fall, winter and spring. The format, dates and times vary by building.
At Luce Road, our Fall PTC Nights consist of two evenings when families are invited to schedule a 15 minute conference time with their child's teacher. There will also be a couple of make & take family activities and information set up in the gym.
Our fall dates and times are: September 26 and October 1, 4:00-7:00pm. Be on the lookout for a link from your child's teacher to schedule a day and time.

Family Connection
Weekday Morning Routine
- To help mornings go more smoothly, put as many things in order as possible the night before.
- Keep wake-up routines cheerful and positive. If your child just ins't a "morning person," consider some upbeat music to help get the household going. Music is a natural mood lifter.
- Encourage your child to eat breakfast, even if they are not hungry in the morning.
- Help avoid last-minute squabbles by offering kids a choice when possible. For example; "It's chilly out, so you should wear a jacket. Would you like to wear the blue or the red one?"
- Finally, round out each morning by saying goodbye to your young child. A simple hug and a wave as they head out the front door or slides out of the car are very important. They will give your child a positive feeling as they begin the day's activities. See How to Ease Your Child's Separation Anxiety.
