Greetings Franklin Academy families,

Hope this communication finds you well and everyone has been having a safe and healthy summer!

Last year, with your support and partnership, our students and staff truly grew and excelled in many of their social and academic areas. We recognize and embrace the concept of continuous improvement and will proceed on our path to excellence. Introducing our 24-25 theme which extends from last year's them, 'Flight to Excellence'; "The path to excellence has no end...Go for Gold!"

All final Service Hour reports were sent in the past few days, please check your email and PowerSchool Portal for this communication as well. With a 91% completion of the 23-24 Service Hour requirement, only 53 students have a hold for extracurricular activities on their PowerSchool profile. When FOUR hours have been completed, the Service Hour HOLD will be removed.

*As there was a consolidation process that took place this month with all of our PowerSchool student profiles, if you are having an issue accessing your PowerSchool Portal, please contact Ms. D. Gonzalez, gonzalez.diana@franklin-academy.org for assistance.

For the families that ordered the pre-packaged School Supply Kits, those will be delivered to the shipping address you indicated starting July 29th.

For all of our incoming Kinder Future Falcons,

As mentioned at the Kinder Round-Up Signing Event in May, the links to sign up for a 20-minute kinder screening for 7/23 or 7/24; (only sign up for ONE session) will be emailed to you, check that inbox daily. If you can't make it, please do not worry, we will administer the same screening at the beginning of the school year. The data we will receive from administering these screenings will helps us place our students in balanced classes as best as we can. If your child attended preschool this past school year, and you have any data reports to share, feel free to bring them along and we will make a copy to help us with the placement process.

FortifyFL is a suspicious activity reporting tool that allows students to instantly relay information to appropriate law enforcement agencies and school officials.

QUICK AND EASY SAFETY TIP SUBMISSION

By accessing FortifyFL, students can provide a description of the threat, share pics, and videos and optionally submit their contact information. Submissions can be anonymous or non-anonymous. Submitting a tip is quick and easy using our mobile app or website.

All Franklin Academy students have access to FortifyFL via their Clever portal dashboard.
