The "Buck Nation" Tribune
The Official NGMS Family Newsletter 8/21/2022
Greetings Nathanael Greene Middle School Parents and Community Members,
Welcome to the 2022 – 2023 school year! I am thrilled to welcome our students and staff back to school. It has been a busy summer at Nathanael Greene Middle School for those students who attended our district wide summer learning programs. We hope that you were able to relax and make special memories with your friends and families. Now it is time to look forward to a wonderful new school year!
Our incredible staff of educators have been preparing classrooms for the new school year. We are excited to welcome many new staff members to our NGMS- Welcome to Buck Nation! We recognize that students may be feeling anxious with the start of a new school year and we will continue to place a strong emphasis on social emotional learning while focusing on building classroom community.
Nathanael Greene Middle School is such a special place to learn and grow. We are proud of our beautiful school and have high expectations for each and every student. Our students are kind, compassionate, and resilient. Together with our dedicated staff, we strive to make connections with students to help them feel valued, accepted, and safe.
Our Nathanael Greene Middle School motto this year is “Be the Dream … Whatever it takes”. As a component of that we will stress the importance of Forward Thinking, Fostering Passions, Developing Responsible Citizens, and Preparing for Tomorrow’s Opportunities”.
Our Instructional Priorities have not changed, they are: Clear, Measurable, Goals; Organized Lessons and Continuous Feedback. Our Cultural Priorities remain the same also. They are: Ensuring a Positive Learning Environment. Ensuring that Actions Are Meaningful for ALL Abilities and Cultures and lastly having Active Engagement.
These concepts will continue to guide our mission to provide a rigorous and joyful inclusive school environment. Partnering with families will be crucial this year as we seek to increase positive family engagement here at Greene. We encourage families to stay connected and informed by following our district and school website for important information. We value our partnership with families as we navigate this year together. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us with questions or concerns. Be the Dream…. Whatever it Takes #Greene Greatness.

Buck Nation Families!
I am super excited for an incredible 2022-23 school year! Excitement, Possibility, Teamwork, Achievement.
These are the words that continue to permeate my mind as I think about the school year approaching. This year, I am looking forward to serving as the eighth grade principal in addition to the URI and PC teams of seventh grade. New opportunities and new adventures await us this year and I am privileged to support you and your families in getting the most out of this year.
Together as students, teachers, staff, families, and administration, we will practice the skills needed to communicate effectively and creatively; this means that classes will be filled with reading, writing, speaking, listening, and viewing. We know that students best learn about themselves as readers and problem solvers with a variety of opportunities to do so. From independent to large group activities, students will have the space and time to grow as individuals and Bucks at Nathanael Greene.
As you have questions, ideas and concerns throughout the year, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I am available via email, twitter and cell phone.
Ms. Amanda Rinalducci, Ed.S.

7th & 8th Grade Administrator

I hope that your students enjoyed themselves as well. I can't wait until the school year to continue our momentum.
I look forward to serving as the 6th and 7th assistant grade principal. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
