Lister Closed for Staff Development
A reminder that Lister is closed on Friday 24th November for a staff development day. Teachers and support staff will be attending numerous workshops which will improve their ability to teach your child. Such days are important to deliver our vision of a world class education for the children of Newham. As part of the NCL Trust, we will be joined by colleagues from all of the trust schools who serve the children of Newham. You should still expect your children to be busy improving themselves - work will be set on Google Classroom and of course, they could spend a good few hours reading a wonderful book from our library. Year 10 and 11 students should be preparing for their GCSE exams. For year 11 students, AC2 exams are only a few days from starting. Success comes from lots of revision!

Curriculum
The curriculum page of our new website is very informative and useful for you to visit to get the sense of what will be happening through your child’s year of learning at Lister. This part of the site is divided into year groups and then subjects with topics covered in the curriculum for that year. Why not pay it a visit and see what the year ahead looks like?

Lister’s Anti Bullying Week
Last week we celebrated Anti Bullying week. This was marked with assemblies led by our Anti Bullying Ambassadors, gratitude cards & random acts of kindness, poster and badge competitions and odd socks day to encourage people to express themselves and celebrate what makes us all unique.
