Message from Mrs. Tremps
Dear Brandywine Families,
November is here, bringing many events and exciting updates for our school community. Here is some important information about our Badger Community:
Morning Carline Reminders
To help keep carline running smoothly and safely, we encourage you to arrive by 7:10 a.m. and pull all the way down the drive. This helps prevent congestion and keeps the line moving. Please watch the updated carline video for some reminders. Thank you for your cooperation!
Turf Soccer Field Installation
Thanks to North Point Community Church's “Be Rich” campaign, our new turf soccer field installation begins on November 1st! We’re grateful for their generous support, which will create more opportunities for students to enjoy soccer and outdoor play.
Read-A-Thon Begins November 1st!
Speaking of outdoor improvements, our Annual Read-A-Thon kicks off on November 1st! This is Brandywine’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and we’re focusing on raising funds to add shade structures on our playground to keep it cool and comfortable for students and staff. Your participation makes a difference—thank you for supporting our students as they read for a great cause!
Election Day – No School for Students on November 5th
Tuesday, November 5th, is Election Day, and school will be closed for students. Our teachers will participate in a professional learning day. We encourage everyone to exercise your civic duty and vote!
Vertical Local School Council Meeting
The next Vertical Local School Council meeting will be held at Denmark High School on November 7th at 7:30 a.m. Parents and community members are welcome to join.
Veterans Day Celebration
We invite you to our Veterans Day celebration on November 11th. Please use the form provided to participate and help us honor the veterans in our community.
National School Psychologist Week (November 4th-8th)
This week, we celebrate National School Psychologist Week! Ms. McWilliams plays a critical role in supporting our students’ emotional, social, and academic growth. She works closely with teachers, administrators, parents, and students to help foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
Denmark Community of Schools Unplugged Night
On November 13th,let’s disconnect from devices and enjoy quality family time! Unplugged Night is a great way to relax, recharge, and make memories with loved ones.
Thank you for your continued support, and here’s to a wonderful November!
Warm regards,

Counselor's Corner
On November 10th at 4:30 PM at Forsyth Central High School, FCS will be hosting the Dr. Jim and Peggie Morrow Glow 5K Run/Walk for Educators! Each school will have a team and we would love for Brandywine to be represented in a BIG WAY! The funds raised during this event will continue to fund staff scholarships to current paraprofessionals who wish to advance to a teaching position and teachers who wish to advance to a school counselor role. Our own Badgers, Rosie Nunez & Andrea Blanco were recipients of this last year! All parents, students, family, and community members are encouraged to participate! There is also an option to be a virtual runner if you are not available that evening.
