Kids Heart Challenge!

This month we will be kicking off our Kids Heart Challenge at both Steeby and Baker! We look forward to partnering with you to raise money for the American Heart Association! Please be on the lookout for the pledge sheet that will be coming home with your kiddo(s) soon! KHC will run from January 13 - February 13th.

A few incentives for your kiddos:

With $75 raised students will get to attend a GLOW PARTY with Mrs. Merchant and Mrs. Smith!

Each classroom that reaches 3 or more Finns Mission completions will receive a $25 Amazon Gift Card!

If we reach our whole school goal then EACH classroom receives a FREE DAY in PE!!

Baker: $10,500

Steeby: $9,000

Baker Elementary

In January we will be playing new tag games and working through hockey skills/stations. We will also be reviewing routines and expectations.

Steeby Elementary

We will be playing floor hockey this month! Students will work on their dribbling, passing, shooting and goalkeeping through different activities and games.

We hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas and were able to spend time with family and friends! We look forward to a great 2025 with your kiddos!

Don't forget to...

*Drink lots of water (at

least 5 cups a day for kiddos)

*Get outside and be active!

*Eat a healthy snack

*Give yourself a break from screen time

*Wash your hands thoroughly

*Get at least 8 hours of sleep each night

*Be POSITIVE!

*Please keep a pair of gym shoes and socks for your child at school so they are always ready for class!
