Wildcat Band receives a "1" at the 2024 MSBOA District VI Marching Band Festival
Congratulations to Band Director, Katy Essex and the Marcellus High School Marching Band for earning a Division 1 rating at Festival on October 8; they earned the highest marks in all categories! These talented students begin working before the school year begins and often stay long after their school days ends. We are incredibly proud of our WILDCAT BAND and amazing director, Katy Essex!

FFA Students attend National Convention
Mrs. Asmus and the Marcellus FFA chapter attended the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis last week along with 86,000 other FFA members. Our students participated in team bonding activities, had the opportunity to speak with hundreds of college representatives from around the United States about their Ag programs and various career choices that Ag has to offer but the icing on the cake was seeing/hearing keynote speaker, Temple Grandin. Temple is known worldwide for her work in animal welfare and for being an autism self-advocate; she is a best-selling author, professor and animal behaviorist. This three day experience was nothing short of incredible for our students! Many thanks to Mrs. Asmus for making this learning experience such a positive one!
Homecoming 2024
Parker Adams and Brock McWilliams both received the title of Mr. Football at the Homecoming Pep Rally on October 11. Congratulations to Princess Carlyn Deer and Homecoming Queen Abigail Tone, who were both crowned during Homecoming halftime.
