Superintendent's Message
Loveland Tiger Families,
With third quarter wrapping up last week, we are now in the final quarter of the 24-25 school year. Things will get busy in the weeks ahead. Spring break and all the events and celebrations that happened in the fourth quarter will make the last few months of the year fly by. I hope your students are having a good school year so far.
Last Monday, Governor Mike DeWine stopped by Loveland High School and talked with students in a few classrooms. LHS social studies teacher Jim Vanatsky invited the Governor to speak to his class and worked on the visit for quite some time. The students asked questions and took selfies will remember the visit for years and may be inspired to get into public service themselves. It was an honor for the Governor to come to LHS, and we appreciate his time. You can read the full article about his visit by following this link to our website.
The visit was also an opportunity for Governor DeWine to learn more about the impact of his state budget proposal would have on Loveland City Schools and our students. The current proposal would cut about $2.5 million from the district’s budget over our Five-Year Forecast. We will continue talking to state lawmakers about the budget as they continue their work. Our community has made it clear they want us to advocate for solutions to Loveland’s unique state funding challenges, and we are committed to doing all we can.

Hi Tiger Families,
Thank you for all of the support for our campaign to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This is our final week of fundraising as we strive to reach our goals. There is one final opportunity to support us this week. On Tuesday, 3/11, Lemons and Limes Boutique will be donating 20% of sales on all regular priced items to our team. Sales count all day, but from 6-8 pm, there will be lite bites and refreshments. If you can’t make it that day, you can buy gift cards beforehand and 20% of your gift card purchase will be donated, as well! Be sure to mention Team CoUREage 6.0 when checking out.
We look forward to updating you next week with our Grand Total. Our Grand Finale Celebration is on Friday, 3/14.
