Drop-off & Pick-up Procedures
September 18, 2024
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We hope this message finds you well. As we strive to ensure a smooth and efficient drop-off and pick-up process for our students, we would like to share some important reminders regarding our procedures.
Drop Off Procedures
To facilitate a quicker morning drop-off, we ask that all cars move up to the end of the drop-off zone. This allows for the maximum number of vehicles to unload, reducing delays during morning drop off.
Additionally, please refrain from making multiple stops to drop off children from different grades. Instead, we encourage you to move to the farthest point in the drop-off zone and unload all students at once.
Pick Up Procedures
For the afternoon pick-up, please remember to form two lanes as you enter the driveway—one closest to the grass and the other nearest to the staff parking lot. This arrangement helps prevent cars from parking on Mays Landing Road.
Cars in the right lane will proceed first, with vehicles in the left lane merging once the right side is clear.
Important Reminder
We want to clarify that our School Resource Officer (SRO) is not permitted to manage the pick-up line at the front of the building. As per the instructions from the State of New Jersey and the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office, the SRO must remain with students and staff to ensure their safety.
Thank you for your cooperation and support in making our drop-off and pick-up procedures as efficient and safe as possible. Together, we can create a smooth experience for all families.
Sincerely,
Kevin Fricke
Superintendent
