What do you want to learn at CIC?
Conference planning is underway, but we need your input!
LISD's 31st annual Continuous Improvement Conference is coming November 4 & 5!
Leander ISD is built upon a foundation of support, collaboration, and sharing of best practices. One of the ways we exemplify this is through our annual Continuous Improvement Conference (CIC).
Help us meet your learning needs!
The Continuous Improvement Conference (CIC) session proposal process will launch next week. Let's use this week to start considering our learning needs and sharing them via this Thought Exchange. The information gathered from this form will be shared during the session proposal process, so that we can work together to provide the right supports and peer-to-peer learning to meet the needs.
New To the Continuous Improvement Conference (CIC)?
This learning experience is a huge part of the power of our past that will continue to propel us forward as a force of the future! If you are new to LISD, here's what's special about CIC:
- Adult ownership of learning (educators treated as professionals to meet their learning needs through choice-based learning within a conference structure rivaling national education conferences)
- Peer-led learning (learning from those engaging in the same work; both leadership and learning opportunities for all staff)
- Community building & connection (sharing best practices across the district; building district-wide collective efficacy; connecting & collaborating with peers from other schools & departments)
- Learning for ALL (non-instructional AND instructional/teaching staff)
