The Tiger Times
December 2024

From the Principal
Dear Verplanck Families,
It is hard to believe that the end of 2024 is around the corner. Please allow me to wish you a healthy, restful, enjoyable, and relaxing break with your loved ones. As we get closer to a new year, we all look forward to the promise of renewal and hope 2025 brings to our families and our school. We also look forward to adding new accomplishments and achievements as we strive to make Verplanck Elementary School a greater place, where every child is provided with an excellent experience. I know that with your continued support we can achieve this goal!
Endings and beginnings are a great time to reflect, refocus, and recharge. Please remember to take some time during the winter recess to speak with your child about what success means to them and how they can achieve it!
Please make sure that your child wears something warm to school as the weather is constantly changing, and it is now cold outside. If your child is in need of a coat, please call the school and ask for Ms. Pabe, she will be more than happy to help.
Sincerely,
Principal Journet
