The transfer center has got you covered! We have introductory workshops like "Intro to Transfer" for you to join and learn more about the transfer process. If you are in your final year here, we have workshops like "Next Steps: Time to decide" to assist you in making your final decisions regarding transfer. Some CSU campuses have extended their application deadlines!

Please view the Application Dates and Deadlines page of the Cal State Apply website for more information about specific schools. The deadline has not been extended for all majors and/or all campuses. The dates of the ones that are extended do vary.

For example: CSU East Bay's new deadline is 2/15/2025; Sonoma State Univ. is 4/1/2025; SFSU is 2/1/2025; Sacramento State is either 2/15 or 2/28 (depending upon major).

The common application is available for you! The Common Application is an undergraduate college admission application that applicants may use to apply to over 1,000 member colleges and universities in all 50 U.S.

1. You may make an appointment with a counselor for one-one-one advice about academics and transfer. Counseling currently has same day, 30-minute appointments available. Starting February 6th 45-minute appointments will be available. Please make a note that the graduation petition deadline is March 7th so make your appointment today!
2. Did you know you can schedule a 30-minute remote or in-person meeting with a College/University Representative? They primarily share facts on the application process, tuition, fees, financial aid, academics, campus life, and services. College and university representative appointments are available through the Transfer Center website and will be updated for the spring semester shortly.

UC Davis is hosting a full day of workshops, fun events, and tours of their campus. It will be on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 9-3 pm. You must register with UC Davis to attend the event. The Transfer Center is providing transportation. If you are interested in a spot on the bus, please complete the registration form.

The Transfer Center at Napa Valley College invites you to join us to participate in the 7th Annual Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) College Day @Sacramento State University.

Transfer Ready and Community College Students
March 6, 2025 | 9:00am - 1:00pm

NVC is providing a bus to the event free of charge.
We will leave NVC at 7:30 am (meet by the flag poles-in between the 900 and 1300 building) and return to NVC by 3:30 pm.

Please complete the following steps to participate (The deadline is February 27th by 4 pm.):

1. Complete the transportation request form to reserve your spot on the bus for up to 50 students today!

2. Complete the Emergency form

If you are transferring in Fall 25 or plan to transfer in Spring 26, please complete the transfer stories FORM and share your exciting news with the NVC Community.

After completing the form, please email a photo of yourself to mhinchcliff@napavalley.edu or stop by one of our selfie stations (Transfer Center or Athletics Office) to snap your photo!

You may wear clothing from your transfer school, hold up a sign with the name of your transfer school or hold a pendant from your transfer school in the photo.
