A Message from Principal Buchko
Dear Amazing 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Students and Families,
Your teachers and I are incredibly proud of the focus, effort, and determination our students have shown during the ILEARN State Assessment. They’ve taken this challenge seriously and worked so hard—we truly see and appreciate their commitment!
Next week will mark the final stretch of testing, with only a few possible make-up sessions remaining. As we finish strong, please continue to help your child get a good night’s sleep and start the day with a healthy breakfast. And most importantly, keep those kind, encouraging words coming—let them know how proud you are of their hard work and positive attitude.
We are so proud of every single one of them!
Have a great weekend,
Marian Buchko

Please make sure you let us know whether you will be returning or you whether you will be moving.

Parents/Guardians,
May is Mental Health Awareness Month 🌼
Did you know that 1 in 6 children in the U.S. ages 6–17 experience a mental health condition each year? As we focus on learning and growing together, May is a great time to check in on our children's emotional well-being. Talking openly about feelings, creating safe spaces for expression, and modeling healthy coping strategies can make a big difference.
👉 Let’s start the conversation! Take a moment this month to ask your child how they're feeling—and really listen. Small moments can have a big impact. For more tips and resources, visit https://www.nami.org/your-journey/kids-teens-and-young-adults/kids/how-to-talk-to-your-child-about-their-mental-health/
Have a great weekend,
Miss Bellamy
