THIS WEEK AT THS
DeShaun Foster Inducted into Tustin Football Hall of Fame
Tustin Tiller Football inducted DeShaun Foster into its Hall of Fame on Friday night during the game against El Toro. It was a spectacular first football game of the year and Tillers won handedly against El Toro with a score of 35-6.
Foster graduated from THS in 1998 and was a standout athlete throughout his years as a Tiller, lettering in football, basketball and track. In 1997, he was named as California Player of the Year by USA Today and set a state single season record of 59 touchdowns. He graduated from Tustin HS with 6296 career rushing yards and 90 touchdowns. DeShaun went on to play for UCLA, the Carolina Panthers, and San Francisco 49ers. He has coached at UCLA, Texas Tech, and was named as Head Coach at UCLA in February.
On Friday night, Foster spoke about the value of discipline, teamwork, humility and gratitude. We are super proud of DeShaun, his success and his character. Once a Tiller, Always a Tiller!
Athletics Highlights
It was a great week in Tiller athletics! Boys Water Polo beat Rancho Alamitos 13-7 on Thursday. Girls Tennis won handedly against Orange with a score of 14-4, and Girls Volleyball beat Troy 3-2 in an exciting and energetic 5 set match. Amazing job, Tillers!
