WELCOME BACK, WELCOME BACK, WELCOME BAAAACCKKKK!!!!!
A Message From Dr. Davenport
Dear Roosevelt Elementary Community,
Welcome back to another exciting school year at Roosevelt Elementary! We hope this newsletter finds you refreshed and ready for a year filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences. We have important updates and information to share with you, so let's dive right in!
We are thrilled to announce that our theme for this school year is "Flip The Switch." This theme encourages our students to embrace change, develop a growth mindset, and explore their full potential. Together, let's inspire our young learners to discover their unique talents and ignite their passion for knowledge.
We extend our sincerest gratitude to all the parents who attended our Meet The Teacher event. Your presence made the day truly special, allowing our teachers and staff to connect with you and your children. Your partnership and support are invaluable, and we look forward to working together to create a successful academic year.
We kindly remind all families to review and adhere to our school's dress code policy. Dressing appropriately for school promotes a positive learning environment and helps our students focus on their studies. For a detailed outline of our dress code expectations, please refer to the school website or contact the main office.
Labor Day Holiday: Please note that there will be no school on Monday, September 4th, in observance of Labor Day. Take this opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved break with your families.
Grandparents' Day Luncheon: On September 7th, we will celebrate Grandparents Day with a special luncheon. Meals will be available for $7, and presale starts on Wednesday. Look out for a flier coming home with your child early this week for more details and ordering information.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all parents for entrusting our campus, teachers, and staff with your children's education and growth. As we begin this new school year, let us remember that education is a collaborative effort between the school, parents, and the community. Together, we can provide our students with the tools they need to thrive academically and personally.
Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to an incredible year ahead. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to our school office.
