Principal's Message
Hello Alder Families,
Although the weather outside is cold, our classrooms are warm and welcoming, while engaging our students in active learning. Throughout January, our teachers are implementing engaging lessons and activities that challenge students to think critically and creatively. You can support this effort at home by encouraging reading, exploring new topics, and discussing what excites your child about their classes.
During convocation our students are focusing on helping students set meaningful goals, build resilience, and celebrate their progress. We encourage you to talk with your child about their aspirations and work together to identify small steps toward achieving them. Positive reinforcement goes a long way in keeping students motivated!
Our Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for January 27th to January 30th. These meetings provide an opportunity to discuss your child’s academic growth, areas of focus, and strategies for continued success. We hope to see all parents and guardians participate.
Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. Together, we can inspire our students to excel and thrive.
Sincerely,
Ms. Cunningham
