Instructional Resources and Support
-With Tutor.com's Dropoff Essay Review tool, students can submit their work and receive custom feedback in five rubric-based categories and in-line feedback on their written work. Each tutor spends between 30-35 minutes per student paper, and this feedback is visible to teachers via the Teacher Dashboard. This can be used as a way to support rough draft essay review.
-Textbook schedule for staff with semester courses can be found here with date and time for pick up
-Observation Feedback is logged in the MyPGS system. Please note, you are to reply to feedback via the platform within 2 weeks of the observation. Your observation will be finalized once the response is received. In some cases, your department administrator will schedule an observation debrief to discuss the lesson observed.
-As always, please ensure your white board configuration (agenda, learning objective, language goal, etc) is posted and visible for everyone throughout the period, including the WASC Instructional Strategy that will be utilized for the lesson.
-Helping students process their thoughts and feelings about the world and creating space for them to bring their full selves to school is essential. To support this, Human Relations, Diversity and Equity (HRDE) has curated resources on Elections, Civics, and Courageous Conversations.

Wednesday Wellness Walks: Beginning January 22nd
Titan News: Hall Pass & Restroom Reminders!
Titans, to help keep everyone on track and safe, remember that hall passes are available only 15 minutes before and after the bell rings. Restrooms will also be closed during these times. With our class periods being short, it’s important we stay in class to learn as much as possible. Please use passes quickly and responsibly so all students can benefit. Thank you for helping keep our school a positive, focused place for everyone!
ATTENDANCE MATTERS: EVERY DAY COUNTS
School Attendance is Success, Nothing Less!
Did you know?
- Students should miss no more than 7 days of school each year to stay engaged, successful and on track to graduation.
- Frequent absences can be a sign that a student is losing interest in school, struggling with school work, dealing with a bully, or facing some other difficulty.
- Missing 10% (or 2 days a month) over the course of the school year can affect a student’s academic success.
- By 9th grade, attendance is a better predictor of graduation rates than 8th grade test scores.
Let’s make every day count!
