Stronger Together for Student Success
At Christene C. Moss Elementary School, we believe that academic success is a top priority for every student. We are committed to providing a supportive and enriching environment that fosters learning and growth. However, we recognize that achieving academic excellence is a collaborative effort that involves not only our dedicated teachers and staff but also the active participation of parents and guardians.
One of the most effective ways to stay engaged in your child’s education is by regularly logging into the Parent Portal. This online tool provides you with real-time access to your child’s academic progress, including grades, attendance, and upcoming assignments. By staying informed, you can better support your child’s learning journey and address any challenges they may face promptly. You can sign up at https://www.fwisd.org/families/parent-portal.
Here are a few reasons why logging into the Parent Portal is crucial:
Monitor Academic Progress: Keep track of your child’s grades and performance in each subject. This allows you to celebrate their successes and identify areas where they may need additional support.
Stay Informed About Attendance: Regular attendance is key to academic success. The Parent Portal helps you monitor your child’s attendance and ensure they are consistently participating in their classes.
Access Important Updates: Receive timely notifications about school events, parent-teacher conferences, and other important announcements.
Communicate with Teachers: The Parent Portal provides a convenient way to communicate with your child’s teachers, fostering a strong partnership between home and school.
Upcoming Events
We are excited to invite you to our Open House on September 26, 2024, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. During this event, you will have the opportunity to meet your child’s teachers, tour the school, and receive important information about the upcoming school year. Additionally, we will be sharing the results of the recent MAP (K-5th grade) and CLI Engage (Pre-K) assessments. You will receive detailed reports on how your child scored and learn about our action plan for student growth and achievement.
Furthermore, Parent Conferences will be held during the week of October 15. These conferences are a valuable opportunity to discuss your child’s progress in detail and collaborate on strategies to support their academic success.
We encourage you to take full advantage of these valuable resources and events. If you have not yet registered for the Parent Portal, please contact our school office for assistance. We are here to help you with any questions or technical support you may need.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child’s education. Together, we can ensure that every student at [School Name] achieves their full potential.
