PTL News
It's time for the annual Fall Carnival, hosted by Zion PTL! Fall Carnival is a fun event for the whole family. Join us in the field behind the worship center on Sunday, October 27 from 3-5 p.m. for inflatables, lawn games, a hayride, pumpkin painting, etc. Feel free to wear your Halloween costume (no scary ones, please) and bring money for kettle corn and the concession stand. Everything else is FREE courtesy of PTL. See you there!

Fall Sports Updates
Our 6-8th grade football team and the 5-6th and 8th grade volleyball teams won their games at Divine Savior on Thursday to finish the regular district season strong. The first round of the district football tournament is next Thursday, October 24, and the district volleyball tournament takes place all day Saturday, October 26. Go Blazers!!
Accelerated Reader Program
We are starting a new program called Accelerated Reader (AR) at Zion for readers in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. The link will provide some basics. Please contact your child's homeroom teacher for additional information.

Guest Teachers for Zion Lutheran School If you are interested in being a Guest Teacher for Zion Lutheran School, please fill out this questionnaire. Talk to Mrs. Winkelman if you have any questions.
Van Drivers for Zion Lutheran We are also looking for additional Van drivers for primarily Friday afternoons. There will be occasional weekdays that we also need assistance. Talk to Mrs. Winkelman if you are interested.
Parent/Teacher Conference November 5th
PARENT CONFERENCES: Parent Conferences are scheduled for Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Please make every effort to meet with your child's teachers. Information is shared with you not only regarding your child's academic progress, but also regarding their social, emotional, and spiritual well-being. We realize that the conference takes time, but for us to work in partnership with you, we need to have your input as well. Specials teachers (PE, Spanish, Computer) as well as Academic Success teachers(Mrs. Warnasch and Mrs. Contreras are also available for conferences that day.
