We are excited about starting the 3rd quarter at Donnelly Elementary School. Thank you for your continued support as we cross the halfway point in the school year.

9. February 25th-27th 5th Grade Ski Days

On Monday, February 3rd, DES is attending the Idaho Sled Dog Races and The Roxy Theater for a movie (The Wild Robot). We are departing DES at 9:45 and will be back at 2:15. Permission slips with detailed information were sent home with students.

REMINDER: If your child is NOT signed up for a school lunch, please remember to bring a lunch / water bottle from home.

DES DRAGONS SPIRIT WEAR

Congratulations to Dawn Kolden and the cast of Aladdin! They put on several amazing performances, and we are all very proud of them! A very special thanks to everyone who helped make this production a tremendous success!

Last month (January), Donnelly Elementary reviewed and practiced our safety drills. This includes an Evacuation (fire drill), Hall Check, Reverse Evacuation, and Lockdown. Our staff and students do an amazing job at following procedures. For more information on the specific drills, please see the handout below.

We have our most recent Continuous Improvement Plan on the district website. The plan addresses school climate, safety, communication, and academic achievement.
