Excellence Showcase
Brunswick City Schools invites you to our 4th Annual Excellence Showcase on Thursday, January 30th, at Brunswick Middle School. From 6:00 to 8:00 PM, visitors can experience firsthand what excellence looks like in our district through an interactive exhibition featuring student work and achievements. The evening includes student performances, an art show highlighting our talented young artists, and self-guided tours of BMS.
Special Education Craft Fair
Mark your calendars for the annual Brunswick Craft & Gift Fair, set for Saturday, December 14th, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Brunswick High School. This annual community event, held in the East Cafeteria and hallways, offers a wide array of crafts and gifts perfect for holiday shopping. More than just a shopping experience, the fair serves a greater purpose. All proceeds directly support the Brunswick High School Special Education Job Club and Work-study Program, providing special education students with vocational training and valuable skills. This award honors those who exemplify the Journey of a Blue Devil, demonstrating effective communication, adaptability, critical thinking, empathy, and responsibility in their work. Parent Mentor Newsletter
Parent Mentors are parents of children with disabilities who offer free peer-to-peer support to other families with similar situations. They collaborate with families, schools, and agencies to provide assistance and guidance in understanding the special education process. Their goal is to help families become better advocates for their children by sharing their passion and experience. Celebrating Excellence: Brunswick Halls of Fames Now Accepting Nominations
Do you know a Brunswick graduate who has made their mark on the world? The Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame is seeking nominations for graduates of 15 or more years who have achieved excellence in their field, whether through professional accomplishments, community service, or other significant contributions. From artists to entrepreneurs, educators to scientists, these alumni represent the lasting impact of a Brunswick education. Click HERE to nominate an alumni for the 2025 Hall of Fame. Nominations completed after March 1st will be considered for the 2026 class.
The Athletic Hall of Fame continues our tradition of recognizing outstanding Blue Devil sports legends. We welcome nominations for athletes who graduated at least 10 years ago, as well as coaches, administrators, and special contributors who have made a lasting impact on our athletic programs.
