Project Junkpile
If you have any OLD, retired, or broken technology that you are no longer using such as desktop computers, monitors, laptops, tablets, printers, shredders, elmos (document cameras), computer charging carts, calculators, iPads, keyboards, mice, or cables please bring those items to the library so they can be discarded. If you happen to have an Dell Latitude 5480 or 5490 laptop, those must be returned as well. If that is your only computer, a replacement must be requested.
Deadline to return items is FRIDAY, MAY 10 as I have to complete paperwork to have the items picked up. I need to complete this task before collecting Chromebooks if possible.
Staff EOY Technology & Library Returns
Library Books: Please return to the library no later than May 24.
Textbooks: If you have a class set of books, are a returning teacher, AND plan to keep the books for next year, just email me the title of book and a count of how many you have.
If you have a class set of books and are NOT returning next year, those should be returned to the library.
Teacher editions: returning teachers can keep them if needed. Non-returning staff should return any teacher edition books.
Technology: ALL STAFF must either return or recheck technology (laptops, ipads, etc.) IN the library. Non-returning staff must turn in all technology to the library. (This is even if you are going to another campus in SAISD - your new campus will issue you a new device.)
Returning staff: You can return technology to be stored over the summer OR you can recheck it for use during the summer. You must still visit the library for either option.
