Meet our New Assistant Principal!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After venturing off to be an assistant principal in Woodridge School District 68 for the past year, I'm excited to return to District 303 and Wredling as the new assistant principal. Prior to this year, I worked for 13 years in St. Charles primarily as a classroom teacher at both the elementary and middle school level. I'm looking forward to working with the students, staff, and parents at Wredling again soon. Please feel free to stop in and say hello. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, traveling to our cabins in Wisconsin, as well as cheering on my favorite sports teams.
PICK UP YOUR SCHOOL MEDICATIONS
DEAR PARENTS/GUARDIANS:
ALL MEDICATION (both over-the-counter & prescription) that is stored in the health office for student use must be picked up by the end of the school day on June 5th. All medication that is not picked up will be discarded through our commercial medical waste disposal service. Compliance with local, state and federal regulations necessitates that we dispose of all medication safely and promptly.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

EIGHTH GRADE PARENT SURVIVAL NIGHT
Parents of future Saints are invited to attend an informal question and answer session on Wednesday, May 23 at St. Charles East High. A panel of current students and parents will be available to help prepare you for the upcoming school year. The evening will begin at 7:00 PM in the Norris Cultural Arts Center.
Wredling Middle School Transition to High School
As we say goodbye to our 8th grade Wredling students and families, we want to highlight the activities that will focus on the successes and culmination of the Wredling experience and their transition to high school.
Included in THIS PAMPHLET are the special activities we have designed. The events include a recognition assembly, pod presentations and conversations with high school students, tours of the high school, and meeting with the East and North High School principals.
8th Grade End of the Year Celebration
On Tuesday, June 5, the 8th graders will wrap up their time at Wredling with a beach-themed celebration including a picnic, games, photo booth and gift card raffle.
We need your help to make it fantastic! Please sign-up to donate drinks, chips and desserts, lend a shade tent, cooler or cornhole game and/or volunteer for the
picnic HERE. Parent volunteers are encouraged to join in the fun by wearing your favorite Hawaiian attire.
Gift cards are needed for the raffle! Please drop off gift card donations in any amount to favorite student places (e.g. Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts, DQ, Target, Walmart, etc.) in the office by May 30.Parent University - May 21st

Community Mental Health Panel. Local clinicians, including representatives from District 303, Riverview Counseling, Creekwood Associates, and Centennial Counseling Center, will be on hand to answer questions about challenging parental issues, while emphasizing and demonstrating self-care strategies for parents on the front line.
Summer is around the corner and we understand that some students may feel anxious about what that brings – different structure in their day, meeting new friends at camp, thinking about moving to a new school next year, or making the move to middle or high school.
Our experts will provide strategies for parents to help their children navigate these changes. Questions may be submitted at the time of registration, or during the session.
